Hover the cursor over the avatar (the small thumbnail image) of the member you want to remove and in the window that appears, click on 'Remove friend', or hover the cursor over the 'Dashboard' tab on the uppermost navigation menu (just under the H-YPE logo) then on click on 'Activity' in the dropdown. Click on 'Friends' which you will find at the top of the 'Activity' section on the right hand side of the blue line. Check the box next to the member you wish to remove. Then click on 'Delete' and confirm the choice you have made in the window that appears.
